18 years National Tourmament experience as a coach, and director of ten World Tournaments in the past. Involved in softball as a player,coach,,league commissioner, tournament director,and most important as a parent of boys that play slow pitch.

AGE DIVISIONS:8u 10u 12u 14u 16u 19u. 23u Age cutoff date is January 1st. Player may play in older division, but not at a younger level. Players may play in only one age division in tournament, and may play for only one team in tournament.
FORMAT: Double elimination with a two game pool play round. Every team is guaranteed four games. Pool games will determine seeding. If teams choose not to play pool games,they will be seeded as if they lost both pool games. Tournament director will change format in the event weather prevents completion of tournament as orginally planned.
TIME LIMIT: One hour fifteen minute, no inninng may begin after 1hr. 15min. Pool Play games ONE HOUR TIME LIMIT tie game in pool settled by international tie breaker rule.
RUN RULE: 20 after 3 innings, 12 after 5 innings 10 after 6 innings
ENTRY FEE: $250.00 per team, entry deadline will be Sunday July 12th.
HOME RUN RULE: players will advance one base after over the fence HR and return to the dugout
HELMET RULE: All batters and base runners will wear approved helmets in live ball area. Catchers will wear helmet and mask. Helmets are optional for 19u and 23u
COURTESY RUNNER: One per inning, runner may be any roster player in line-up or not. If line-up player is used he will be scored as an out if caught on base when his turn at bat occurs
BALLS: Furnished by tournament: 11in. 8u 10u & 12u. 12in 14u,16u, & 19u
BATS: The NSA bat list will be the standard. www.playnsa.com
PITCH ING DISTANCE: 8u (Coach Pitch) 10u &12u 40 ft.
14u 16u 19u 50ft.
SANCTION: SSAA fee $12.00 per team
ROSTER: each team will submit completed SSAA roster before play
BIRTH CERTIFICATE: players need to have proof of age in the form of birth certificate. Age 16 and up may provide picture ID in place of birth certificate.
PROTEST FEE: $100.00 per protest, fee returned if protest upheld.
AWARDS:1st, 2nd, 3rd. place trophies each division winner. There will be ALL WORLD team selected, individual awards will be given to each team member of division winning teams,and division second place teams. MVP to be awarded in each division.
SPORTSMANSHIP: Award will be given to teams displaying the best example of good sportsmanship. Taunting and teasing of players, umps, and other teams fans will be dealt with quickly and severly. There is no place for taunting in our sport Coaches control your players...Players control your COACHES!
COACHES MEETING:Thursday July 16th Coaches will meet at Cane Creek Recreation Center
Tournament details will be discussed. Please try to have a representative of your team at the meeting.
OPENING CEREMONIES: Each team is requested to be present Friday for opening ceremonies, which will follow pool play.
SKILLS COMPETITION: Home Run hitting,base running, and throwing competition will be held Thursday evening after pool games.
ATMOSPHERE: effort is being made to provide each participant with a World Series experience they will enjoy. Photographers will be present to sell memory pictures made at the tournament. Souvenir tee shirts are being designed and printed, and will be available along with souvenir caps. Opening ceremonies will allow each team to be recognized, we want everybody to enjoy their visit here
